December Daily: Day 10

Today is the start of the last week in Long Beach before I move down the Mission Viejo. We had a very busy day. So busy that I did not take a single picture. After having a quick breakfast, we headed down to our new apartment complex to sign the lease and check out our apartments. I absolutely LOVE our new apartment. It is a corner unit so we only have one neighbor. Also, it's south facing and there is a ton of light. I had wanted to take some "before" shots of our place. I guess I will wait until move in day.

After the apartment business we went down to San Juan Capistrano to look at beds. After some mattress testing and a little negotiation...we purchased a split king adjustable bed with mattress covers. The sales guy threw in a couple of pillows too. Merry Christmas to us!

The day indeed was a long one, and it wasn't until 6:15 before we ate what was supposed to be a late lunch. hehe. We went to the Riptide restaurant where we chowed down on some killer food. Of course I was so hungry I didn't get a picture of our food.

We arrived back in Long Beach at around 8 and were totally beat. The next time we will be going down there is move in day in a week. I can't wait for us to get moved in and for me to have a chance to decorate! I have every intention of decorating for Christmas and putting a tree up. Yes. I. do.
