I've always understood the importance of creative outlets. Without them, I'm a very grumpy girl. Work, work, and more work as a Project Engineer often times takes over my life. This has been the case this year with staff getting smaller and workloads getting bigger.

One and a half years ago my sister and I made her wedding invitations. We got a lot of complements and I was encouraged to consider starting an invitation business on the side. Then work happened and my creative aspirations fell to the wayside. Lately I've been reintroduced to the crafting world by my sister, who recently added card making to her craft habit. It re-awakened my passion for paper and I've found new inspiration from the crafting blogs. It also made me realize that I'm slightly out of touch with the latest tools, techniques, and supplies that are out there now. So..I have some serious brushing up and learning to do...
