Happy Birthday Cards

There are so many December Babies in my life. Here are a couple of super simple birthday cards I made recently.

I started out with this card first. I had cut the cupcake from the "Home Decor" cartridge and the sentiment from the "George and Basic Shapes" cartridge on my Cricut. 

 

I was collecting the scraps from the Cricut, and decided to make a card out the "negative". It turned out super cute and I ended up giving out this card first. :)

Okay I'm going to have to work on my light box a little more. I'm really not diggin' the yellowish hue on the first card. The second card was taken in the hallway. Maybe its the energy efficient bulbs. hrm...
