Scrap Paper Journal

Hello! Wow. Okay. I'm a BAD craft blogger. I plan to be here more on the weekends since I've been finding the time to get more crafty. For the past week I've been participating in Amy Tan's workshop, and I'm LOVING it!

Below is my scrap paper journal that I created for the class:

I have the tiniest sewing machine and I was determined to sew this puppy using it. Well after 45 minutes and countless knots and tangles, I decided to just hand stitch this one together. The spine ended up being a little trashed along the top, so I added a little spine cover with purple cardstock.

For the cover, I stenciled in the word "Adore" in pencil and then stitched over it. Right below it I stuck two pieces of homemade washi tape.
