Beloved

I made this card inspired by Kristina Werner's Finally Friday Video over at Two Peas. I liked the idea of using a dark based card and I thought I would give it a go.

 

I created the scalloped edge of the heart by using my leaf punch on scrap white cardstock. The cardstock had some print on the back and I thought it would add something a little different to the card. 

Okay as you can see from the picture, I've totally abandoned the whole light box idea. Instead I prop up the card on my marker carousel and under a lamp. Then I stack a few little boxes up as a base for another spot light. I suppose this is better lighting wise. It's hard to tell with such a dark card. Now I just need to figure out something for the background.
