Project 365: Week Three

01.16. Lets get SCRAPPY!! Today my sister and I went to the Scrapbook Expo at the OC Fair Grounds. It was my first and it was fun. We had a set of rules set up before we went in: 1. cash only, 2. bring only the amount of cash you want to spend, 3. walk through all the exhibits before purchasing anything, 4. NO PAPER. okay that last rule was for me. I have WAY too much paper. So what happened? I bought a Unity Background stamp before we finished looking at all the booths (I think we had a couple more to look at) and I bought a bunch of MME paper and two cosmo cricket paper pads. Epic Fail on that last rule. Oh well. I got a bunch of other stuff too. Here it all is in its glory. hehe.

01.17. Roscoe's. My brother, sister, and brother-in-law took a trip to Long Beach for some Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. It was sooooooo delicious! I don't know what they put in their waffles or on their chicken, but it be good.

01.18. Flashing Lights. Our internet has been out since Saturday. I thought I was going to die. Well maybe not die, but I definitely felt very disconnected and isolated from the world. Down internet at my house means lousy reception on my phone, which then means I go a little crazy. All is good now. WooHoo. Oh and shout out to my sister on her Birthday!

01.19. Tornado? We are in the middle of storm 2 of 3 that is hitting Southern California this week. People are freaking out on the freeways. Our internet pooped out over the weekend. Our satellite probably blew away and is probably floating somewhere in the middle of the pacific now. The worst of it was during lunch time. There was thunder and lighting here, and when I returned back to the office after lunch, there was a tornado warning issued for the Los Angeles/Orange County Area. TORNADO?! Really???

01.20. One channel. Our Directv has been out since yesterday. We now have one channel...the bouncing Directv Logo channel. Good thing none of the shows I normally watch are on TV right now. I still think by far no internet is worse than no TV...

01.21. Organization. I FINALLY purchased the white cardboard magazine files from Ikea. I'm on my way to reducing the number of piles I have stacked on and around my desk.

01.22. Beading. This is my car as I was leaving work today. Water all over it. At least it wasn't raining temporarily for me to be able to take this picture. It's been one of those weeks.
